Foreign citizens shall obtain a visa to Russia in the country of current living and citizenship only
Getting contact with Russian Consulate or Embassy in your country to be sure that the Embassy Application Form you competed will be accepted.
Please keep in mind that the Visa and the Invitation are different things!
Type of invitations for the visa could be used in Russia are following:
- the private invitation can be received with the purpose of visiting your friends or relatives. It is made out by the private person. For obtaining the visa the original invitation document should be used only.
- the tourist/busianess invitation is made out by the organization which officially registered in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. For getting its visas the Original or Fax copy could be used.
We mostly do provide an invitation (visa support letter) for two visas in Russia:
- tourist visa less that 30 days of staying in country, single or double entry
- business visa for 1 – 12 months, single double or multi
Please make a difference between a TOURIST visa and a BUSINESS visa:
Tourist visa is issued for travelers visiting Russia on tourism purposes. Business visas can be used both in business and tourism purposes. A tourist visa is valid for no longer than 4 weeks.
